Eric Torgersen has published six books of poetry, two of fiction, and a study of Rainer Maria Rilke and Paula Modersohn-Becker. He translates Rilke and other German poets. Born on Long Island, NY, he was with the Peace Corps in Ethiopia, earned an MFA, and retired recently from Central Michigan University.
