Diane Wakoski won the Poetry Society of America’s William Carlos Williams Prize with her selected poems, Emerald Ice. Most recent of her more than 20 poetry collections is Bay of Angels (Anhinga Press, 2013). Now retired, Wakoski was Poet In Residence and University Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University, 1975-2012.
