is associate professor of English at Wayne State University. She teaches
creative writing and American literature and is Director of Graduate

Armstrong
holds an MFA in English from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and teaches
writing at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. He is editor of the journal

Garters.
