Sandra Cisneros is a poet, essayist, and fiction writer who explores the lives of working people. Her classic novel, The House on Mango Street, celebrates its 40^th anniversary. Poetry collections include Loose Woman (1995) and Woman Without Shame (2022). She has a MacArthur Fellowship and a truckload of other awards.
